In November 2001, we entered into a worldwide exclusive development and license agreement with Harris Moran Seed Company to commercialize our technology in lettuce and certain melons. Harris Moran is a part of Groupe Limagrain, the largest independently owned seed company in the world.
There has been considerable success in laboratory conditions by Harris Moran scientists in incorporating our technology into their seed. Harris Moran aims to improve yield and shelf life of the crops ultimately grown from their seed, which is what led to our relationship.
