Scientific Advisory Board

Alan Bennett is professor of Plant Sciences at UC Davis and serves as the founding Executive Director of the "Public Intellectual Property Resource for Agriculture" and as Chairman of the GATD Foundation, both of which are non-profit organizations that provide commercialization strategy advice and intellectual property rights analysis to support the commercialization of public sector innovations. Dr. Bennett is a Fellow of the California Council for Science and Technology (CCST), a science policy advisory council for the State of California, and a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).

Charles A. Dinarello, M.D.

Dr. Dinarello is a Professor of Medicine at the University Of Colorado School Of Medicine, a member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences and the author of over 500 published research articles. In addition to his active academic research career, Dr. Dinarello has held advisory positions with two branches of the National Institutes of Health and positions on the Board of Governors of both the Weizmann Institute and Ben Gurion University.

James W. Mier, M.D.

Dr. Mier is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. He is also a practicing physician in the Division of Hematology-Oncology at Beth Israel. Dr. Mier’s research is funded by the NIH and he is a member of numerous professional societies.
